Oct. 16, 2007/By Rob Gerein

For the first time this fall, the Boston Red Sox find themselves in a pressure-cooker situation as they head into Game 4 of the ALCS against the Cleveland Indians tonight.

The Red Sox trail the best-of-seven series 2-1 after Cleveland picked up a win at Jacobs Field Monday night.

Bet this game at Bodoglife, which has the Red Sox as 112-moneyline favorites, with the game total at 10.

The Red Sox will start righthander Tim Wakefield, who is 17-12 this season with a 4.76 ERA. The Indians will counter with righthander Paul Byrd, who has a 4.79 ERA to go along with a 16-8 record.

Kenny Lofton belted a two-run homer to give the Indians a 4-2 win over the Red Sox in Monday's Game 3, as +110 underdogs. The six runs were well under the over/under total of 10.

Asdribal Cabrera was 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI, and Travis Hafner drove in the other run for the Indians. Jake Westbrook pitched 6 2/3 innings for the win, allowing seven hits and two runs. Jason Varitek belted a two-run homer for the Red Sox.

Boston is 4-2 SU in its past six games, and is 9-4 SU in its past 13 road games against Cleveland. Cleveland is 6-2 SU in its past eight games, and 4-9 SU in its past 13 games at home against Boston.

The total has gone under in four of Boston's past five games when playing on the road against Cleveland.
