Knicks try for first win in Phoenix since 2003

The New York Knicks will try to pick up their first win at the U.S. Airways Center in nearly five years when they face the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

New York has lost four straight in Phoenix, its last victory coming on Feb. 14, 2003 when the Knicks edged the Suns 116-115.

The Knicks lost to Miami 75-72 as a 3-point favorite in their last game, while Phoenix's Leandro Barbosa lit up the Orlando Magic for 39 points in Saturday's 106-96 win, covering the 1.5-point road spread.

Steve Nash had 19 points and 11 assists, while Grant Hill added 14 points for the Suns.

New York has lost two straight games and is 2-3 SU and 2-3 ATS. Phoenix has won 2 straight games and is 5-2 SU and 3-4 ATS.

The last time the Knicks faced the Suns was Jan. 24, 2007, when Phoenix won 112-107 in New York.

The Knicks are riddled with injuries, as six players are either out or questionable for tonight’s game. Guards Nate Robinson (strained hamstring) and Quentin Richardson (sore elbow) and forward Zach Randolph (personal), are all listed as day-to-day. Phoenix guard Raja Bell is listed as day-to-day with a sprained ankle.
