Vikings push for playoffs against Bears
Dec. 17, 2007/By Nick Bailey
The Chicago Bears visit the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in a clash of NFC North rivals.
Chicago’s third-string quarterback, Kyle Orton, is expected to get the start against the arch-rival Vikings, who are 4-0 SU and ATS in their past four games.
The Vikings (7-6 SU, 7-4-2 ATS) are in the hunt for a NFC Wild Card spot, while the Bears (5-8 SU, 4-9 ATS) have only a small mathematical chance of advancing to the postseason.
Bet this NFL game at BodogLife, which has the Vikings as 10½-point favorites and the over/under at 43½.

The rookie from Oklahoma scored on runs of 67, 73 and 35 yards. He broke Chuck Foreman's club-record of 200 yards rushing set against the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976, and gained the most yards against the Bears in their 88-year history.
Last week, the Bears lost 24-16 to the Washington Redskins as 3-point underdogs. The 40 points were over the total of 39. Bernard Berrian caught seven passes for 91 yards in the loss for Chicago. Brian Griese completed 27-of-45 passes for 295 yards with two TDs for the injured Rex Grossman.
The Vikings beat the San Francisco 49ers 27-7 as an 8½-point favorite, with the score going under the over/under total of 39. Chester Taylor rushed for 101 yards with a touchdown on eight carries for Minnesota, while Tarvaris Jackson completed 16-of-25 passes for 163 yards with a touchdown.
