Chicago Bears need four in a row!

Dec 5, 2007 By Scott Burgess

Game Day: Thurs, Dec 6, 2007 8:00 PM ET
Chicago (5-7) at Washington (5-7)

The Washington Redskins (-3) will host the Chicago Bears (+3), at FedEX Field, for some Thursday Night Football. The Chicago Bears (4-8 ATS) (6-6 O/U) are having an on and off again season. Their most recent, 16-21, road loss was to the N.Y. Giants. The Bears are currently 3-3 on the road. If the Bears want to make the playoffs they need to win their final four in a row, which hasn’t been done since 1990. Good news is that after every loss the Bears have won their next game.

The Washington Redskins (3-7-2 ATS) (5-7 O/U) are suffering four losses in a row. Their most recent loss was to the Buffalo Bills, 16-17. The Redskins are currently 3-3 at home.

Bet the Bears – Redskins game at BodogLife which has the Redskins as 3-point favorites over the Bears and the over/under set at 37.

Last week the Chicago Bears were 1.5 underdogs over the Giants and the over/under total set at 39.5. The final score was 16-21 Giants. The Giants cashed in on the spread and the over/under was UNDER. The Bears QB Rex Grossman was 25/46 for 296 YDS with 1 TD. He was also sacked an amazing 6 times. RB Adrian Peterson had 22 ATT for 67 YDS with 0 TD. WR Desmond Clark had 5 REC for 76 YDS with 1 TD.

Last week the Washington Redskins were 6.5 underdogs against the Bills and the over/under total set at 33. The final score was 16-17 Bills.  The Bills cashed in on the spread and the over/under was a PUSH. The Redskins QB Jason Campell was 21/37 for 216 YDS with 1 INT. RB Clinton Portis had 25 ATT for 50 YDS along with 1 TD. The Redskins defense sacked QB Trent Edwards 3 times.
The Redskins have won 2 straight games against Chicago and are (6-2 ATS) in their last 8 meetings. The road team is (4-0 ATS) in the last 4 contests. The last 10 times the Redskins and Bears have faced each other the Redskins lead the series 8-2.
