Sweet Sixteen beckons NCAA Basketball Bettors

College Basketball Betting fans are gearing up for the 2008 NCAA Tournament stretch drive as the Sweet Sixteen round gets underway Thursday and Friday.
Sportsbetting.com has lines and Prop Bets for all eight games as the 16 teams remaining in March Madness fight to advance to the Elite Eight.
A West Region Semifinal kicks things off as the Xavier Musketeers battle the West Virginia Mountaineers (7:10 pm ET, CBS). West Virginia is a slim 1-point favorite and the over/under total is 136.
Then, the East No. 1 seed North Carolina Tar Heels take on the Washington State Cougars (7:25 pm ET, CBS), who are making their first-ever Sweet Sixteen appearance. The Tar Heels are an 8-point and -400 moneyline favorite, while the total is 142½.
The second game of the West Region semifinals pits the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, making their first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 1993, against Pac-10 champion and West No. 1 UCLA Bruins (9:40 pm ET, CBS). The Bruins are 12½-point favorites and the total is 133.
In the final East semifinal, the Louisville Cardinals are 2½-point and -145 moneyline favorites over the Tennessee Volunteers (9:55 pm ET, CBS). The total is 145½.
On Friday, the first Midwest Regional semifinal features upstart Davidson Wildcats, who shocked the No. 2 Georgetown Hoyas 74-70 in the second round to advance to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 1969, taking on the Wisconsin Badgers (7:10 pm ET, CBS). Wisconsin is a 4½-point, -210 moneyline favorite and the total is 126½.
The South semifinals get going with the Stanford Cardinals taking on the Texas Longhorns (7:25 pm ET, CBS). The Longhorns are 2-point and -135 moneyline favorites and the total is 134.
At 9:40 pm ET (CBS), the Midwest No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks are 11½-point favorites over the Villanova Wildcats, with the total at 143½.
And the last matchup has the South No. 1 Memphis Tigers as 5-point and -225 moneyline favorites over the Michigan State Spartans (9:55 pm ET, CBS). The total is 136½.
