Vanderbilt takes on Vols in NCAA Hoops

The No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers host the 14th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores in a battle of SEC rivals Thursday night at the Thompson-Boling Arena.
The Vols, winners of nine straight, are 10½-point favorites at BetUS, and the over/under is 166.
Tip-off is at 7 pm ET and the game can be seen on ESPN.
The Volunteers have an edge head-to-head, going 6-4 SU and 7-2 ATS over the past 10 meetings. The teams last met on Feb. 10, 2007, when Tennessee hammered Vanderbilt 84-57, easily covering the 4½-point home spread. The score was under the total of 155.
Vanderbilt (16-1 SU, 8-8 ATS) was outrebounded 42-21 in Saturday's 79-73 loss at Kentucky in double overtime, falling as 1-point road underdogs. The 152 points scored were under the total of 153. Shan Foster was 4-for-8 from beyond the arc for 20 points, while A.J. Ogilvy hit 16 points for the Commodores.
JaJuan Smith scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Tennessee (14-1 SU, 5-5-1 ATS) got past South Carolina 80-56, also on Saturday. Tennessee cashed in as 5-point road favorites and the score was under the total.
Vanderbilt is 16-1 SU in its past 17 games, and is 5-1 ATS in its past six on the road. The total has gone under in four of Vanderbilt's past five games against Tennessee, but has gone over in five of Vanderbilt's past seven on the road.
Tennessee is 5-0 SU in its past five both overall and at home, and is 4-1 SU in its past five at home against Vanderbilt.
